Purpose
The Trade Info data type allows you to fetch real-time information about your currently selected trades. This is useful for monitoring open positions, checking profitability, and triggering management actions based on live trade conditions.
How It Works
When selecting Trade Info in the Trade Rule block, you can choose to fetch:
Open Price – The entry price of the trade.
Closed Price – The exit price of a closed trade (only available after closing).
Volume – Trade size in lots.
Profit – Current profit/loss of the trade in account currency.
Stop Loss – The stop loss level currently set for the trade.
Aggregate Options
You can define how the block collects this data:
Total – Uses all trades in your current selection/filter and aggregates their data.
Last – Uses only the most recent trade from your selection/filter.
⚠ Note: The selection/filter for trades must be defined before using Trade Info. For example, if you want to check only buy trades, apply a filter first.
Adjust
In the Adjust section, you can modify the fetched value by adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing. This is useful for creating thresholds or relative comparisons (e.g., “check if profit > stop loss × 2”).
Use Cases
Trail stop loss if profit reaches a certain level.
Close trades if volume exceeds a set amount.
Adjust risk management based on open price or stop loss distance.
