1. Download MetaTrader 5
Go to your broker’s website or MetaTrader5 official site.
Download the Mac version.
2. Install & Open MT5
After downloading, install the app.
Launch MetaTrader 5.
3. Create Demo Account
From the startup screen, choose Open Demo Account.
Fill in basic details → account will be created in a few seconds.
4. Login to Demo Account
Use the login credentials (login ID, password, server) given after account creation.
Now you are inside MT5.
5. Access MT5 Data Folder on Mac
Open Finder.
Go to the top menu → Help.
Type Library → click it to open.
Inside Library → open Application Support.
Find and click net.metaquotes.wine.metatrader5.
Open drive_c.
Go into Program Files.
Click MetaTrader 5.
Open the MQL5 folder.
Click on the Experts folder.
6. Quick Access to Experts Folder
Drag the Experts folder into your Finder Favorites sidebar.
This gives quick access every time.
7. Upload Your Expert Advisors (EAs)
Open the Experts folder.
Copy or drag-and-drop your EA (.ex5) files inside.
Restart MT5 → your EAs will appear under Navigator → Expert Advisors.
