Summary
All your changes in Profectus.AI are now saved instantly and automatically to the cloud. This new behavior makes the old “Save” button unnecessary — your progress is always secure and synced in real time.
How It Works
Every edit you make — adding, deleting, or adjusting blocks — is now immediately stored in the cloud. You no longer need to click “Save.”
You’ll see a small status icon in the top bar to show your saving state:
Icon | Meaning |
✅ Check mark | Changes successfully saved to the cloud |
🔄 Loading circle | Currently syncing (usually instant) |
❌ Red cross | Temporary error — just retry or refresh; data is rarely lost |
Why It Matters
No more manual saving — just build and focus.
Your projects are always backed up automatically.
Syncs instantly across devices and sessions.
Multiple tabs and what autosave does not do
One tab per project: If the same project is open in two tabs or on two devices, both write to the cloud and the last write wins, even if it holds an older state. This can undo recent changes.
There is no version history: Instant saving stores the current state only; you cannot roll back to an earlier version on your own. Before a large or risky change, duplicate the project first.
Check the sync icon before closing the tab: If it is still spinning or showing an error, your last change may not have reached the server.
